Congratulations to Gary Allen for being inducted into the "Greater Savannah Athletic Hall of Fame." Mr. Allen was inducted on May 4, 2009. He was one of Savannah's most versatile athletes. Besides being a star running back at Savannah High Allen played college basketball and was a pitcher with the Cincinnati Reds organization. He also became a champion skeet shooter as well. Congratulations Mr. Allen, you are a true Renaissance man!
