What is the most economical Mustang?

Mustang’s wide range of engine choices makes it easy to find one that fits your budget. The 2020 Mustang EcoBoost Fastback has the lowest starting price. Here are a few standard features of this model that make it big on value and sure to lift you out of your day:

Like all mustangs, it has the signature long, seductive hood, taut, distinctive tail with tri-bar, sequential turn signals and headlamps with signature lighting. It features a fun-to-pedal 6-speed manual transmission and a 4-wheel, fully independent suspension that delivers precise handling. And you can feel confident behind the wheel thanks to its five-star safety rating.

The 2.3L EcoBoost Engine delivers blistering performance and features:

  • ·310 horsepower

  • 350 lb.-ft. of torque

  • Turbocharging and direct injection

  • Twin independent variable cam timing (Ti-VCT)

  • 0-60 mph in under 4 seconds

Performance metrics are instantly provided in the instrument cluster. Accelerometer displays lateral and longitudinal g-forces, acceleration times and lap times, plus automatic and countdown starts.

With the push-button start, you truly have the power of a Mustang at your fingertips. The steering column tilts and telescopes to better fit your needs. Even the placement of the short-throw 6-speed manual transmission gear shifter allows for open access to controls.

The class-exclusive active valve performance exhaust lets you control the volume. If you’re leaving for work early in the morning, set it for Quiet Start. Need an energy boost when you’re leaving work? Select the Sport setting. Other modes are Normal and Track.

Launch control integrates the brakes, traction and powertrain control to help ensure quick starts, while real-time performance info is displayed on the in-dash LCD screen. The electronic line-lock does the hard work for you by locking the front brakes and releasing the rear brakes. Those back tires will be spinning and warmed up in no time.

The standard base suspension on Mustang is primed for responsive handling. Its independent suspension and selectable power-assisted steering deliver crisp, responsive performance. The integral link, independent rear suspension helps minimize body roll and isolate road imperfections for a responsive ride and precise handling. Aluminum-alloy rear knuckles and H-arms help reduce unsprung mass. And Mustang provides the braking power to keep its high-powered performance in check.

Three power-assist settings provide the type of steering control you want when you want it. Comfort: the least amount of steering effort. Perfect for everyday driving. Normal: a balance between Comfort and Sport. Sport: requires increased steering effort, delivering a more immediate connection to the road.

Included in the infotainment system are SYNC and FordPass Connect. SYNC makes it easy to connect to your music and entertainment wherever you travel. Say what music you want to hear and listen to it easily with voice-activated search or say "Bluetooth audio" to wirelessly stream your favorite content on your phone. You can even let SYNC put together a personalized playlist. Using simple voice commands and the touch of a button, you can make a call or send a text message.

The standard LCD screen lets you read and control many of the things you want, including caller ID, call waiting, your contact list, along with song titles. Say “Bluetooth audio” and you wirelessly listen and view whatever's on your phone, along with seeing what podcast or audio book you’re listening to. 911 Assist can call for help in the case of an accident, even if you can’t.

You can use the FordPass App to access complimentary features like locate, start, stop, lock and unlock your vehicle from just about anywhere.
