A Hinesville woman went to J.C. Lewis Ford to buy a car, but walked away with much more. Now, she’s going viral.

"We got to the drawing table and started penciling the numbers and usually 9 out of 10 customers will ask for some free gas or something a little extra. She went straight for the plant," said J.C. Lewis Ford salesman Ethan Lesondek.

A Facebook post from the dealership about the unusual sale led to 3,000 comments and has been shared nearly 6,000 times. "The comments are hilarious. I love reading them. It’s funny," Cartrette said. Not only is it viral, but Cartrette has also started a little bit of a trend. Other customers are now asking for the same deal with their purchase.

"We are going green, if you will. We have folks reaching out as far as Washington state and California. We have a bonsai tree farm that has reached out to us, wanting to partner with us to give away bonsai trees. I’m not sure we are going to give away bonsai trees but we are going to go green. We are going to give away something," said J.C. Lewis Ford General Manager James Eady.

WJCL recently reported this story due to its viral impact. Nearly 2 million people have viewed the Facebook post on social media. Contact J.C. Lewis Ford to value your trade today, https://bit.ly/3vgFeir.
